Directions: Before lighting, trim the wick to approximately 6mm and remove any wick debris. This encourages an even burn, longer burning time, and will keep the candle burning without any black soot. Ensure the top layer of the wax has melted evenly before extinguishing the flame to prevent tunnelling. Blowing out the flame is not encouraged as the wax may splatter, and the wick may continue to smoke and glow.
Either use a candle dipper and dip your wick into the pool of wax, or use a candle snuffer to extinguish the burning scented candle. Do not burn for less than one hour or longer than three hours at a time. Do not leave the candle unattended. Stop burning when there is 10mm to 12mm of wax left.
